Sioux City Public Pools Opening Dates

The Parks and Recreation Department wishes to announce the start of the 2026 Pool Season. Riverside Aquatic Center will be open Saturday, May 23, 2026, Sunday, May 24, 2026, and Monday, May 25, 2026. All pools (Riverside, Leif Erikson, and Lewis) will open daily starting Saturday, June 6, 2026 through Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Leif Erikson Pool June 6, 2026 to August 9, 2026 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Lewis Pool June 6, 2026 to August 9, 2026 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Pool Admission Rates:
• Leif Erikson and Lewis Pools: Child - $3 / Adult - $4
• Riverside Pool: Child - $4 / Adult - $5

Lap Swim:
• Lewis Pool Mornings: Monday - Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
• Lewis Pool Nights: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
• Cost: $2 daily or $90 season pass

Discount Programs:
Assistance for low-income families is available. Qualifying families will receive a booklet of 10 free pool passes that can be used at any pool along with a low-income card that provides a 20% discount for all Parks and Recreation programs. Sioux City Splash Pads are open to the public daily from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Chris Larsen Park Splash Pad hours are 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
