HHSC Asks for Public Input on Funding Requests for Next Legislative Session
HHSC is seeking public input on what funding needs to request for the 90th Texas Legislature beginning January 2027.
HHSC will list its funding needs for the 2028-29 biennium through a legislative appropriations request, which is typically due to the Texas Legislature in August before the next legislative session.
HHSC will review and consider all submissions as it develops the legislative appropriations request. Ideas and recommendations should be sent by email to [email protected] by Nov. 24.
Email submissions should include:
- Your name or the name of your organization, and a contact person.
- A clear, concise description of the recommendation, and what need it would address.
- The expected impact or benefit to the state or people served by HHSC.
