Chinese Embassy in Malaysia Hosts Open Day Event

On September 20, Chinese Embassy in Malaysia hosted an Open Day, which gathered close to 80 Malaysian university and high school students to experience traditional Chinese culture and celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Chargé d'Affaires Zheng Xuefang attended and delivered remarks.

Chargé d'Affaires Zheng Xuefang, who extended his regards and Mid-Autumn greetings to the students, gave an account of the fruitful results of China-Malaysia exchanges and cooperation in various fields under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries. He also shared about the Global Governance Initiative, including its core concepts, great significance, and value to the times. He called on the youth to inherit the China-Malaysia friendship and build a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future, as well as to carry forward the "global solidarity" spirit and contribute strength to advance the building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Besides touring the Embassy, students also watched videos on the September 3rd Victory Day Parade and the Mid-Autumn Festival, tried on Hanfu, made and tasted mooncakes, weaved Chinese knot, made Chinese herbal sachets, and tried their hands at pitch-pot along with other games and activities.
