MLGW Substation Fire Causes over 11,000 Outages Staff and crews working 24/7 to restore power

A substation breaker (about the size of a car) caught fire at a substation near Firestone this afternoon. We are still investigating the cause. Staff and crews are working on restoring all customers as quickly and as safely as possible. However, affected customers should plan on being without power into the evening and possibly overnight.
