Secretary-General of ASEAN addresses 5th ASEAN Maybank Scholarship Awarding Ceremony
Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today participate in the 5th ASEAN-Maybank Scholarship Awarding Ceremony held in conjunction with the 59th ASEAN Day Celebration at the ASEAN Secretariat/ ASEAN Headquarters.
In his remarks, SG Dr. Kao expressed his appreciation to Maybank Foundation, an ASEAN-accredited entity, for its continued commitment to supporting ASEAN community-building through education. He highlighted the Foundation's contribution to expanding access to quality higher education. He also underscored the importance of advancing the priorities of the ASEAN Work Plan on Education 2026-2030, particularly, in promoting equitable, inclusive, and lifelong learning opportunities for the peoples of ASEAN.
