Information Session - Maine DACF PFAS Fund Call for Research Proposals

Information Session - Maine DACF PFAS Fund Call for Research Proposals October 15, 2025 On Thursday, October 16, at 3:30 pm, there will be an information session on Microsoft Teams about the second round of research grant funding offered by the PFAS Fund to support research to help Maine farmers determine their best options for maintaining and enhancing viability despite the presence of PFAS on their property. The information session will be an opportunity for those interested in developing proposals to ask questions about the process. (For those who are unable to attend, questions and answers will be collated and provided before the full application deadline to all who submit a pre-proposal.) In addition, farmers and academic researchers will be able to share their interests and contact information with each other. This will allow those who have similar interests to connect and explore the possibility of developing a joint proposal. At the information session, a link will be shared for entering research interests and contact information. The degree of collaboration and the process of developing a proposal will be up to the interested farmers and academic researchers - the role of the PFAS fund is only to provide an opportunity to make a connection. Those who are unable to attend the information session but would like to add their information should email [email protected] for the link. Join on Microsoft Teams [email protected]
