The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, received the President of the Republic of Botswana, Duma Gideon Boko, at Moncloa Palace.

This was the first meeting between the two leaders and focused on the shared commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between Spain and Botswana in strategic areas such as energy transition, which, they agreed, is key to tackling climate change and building resilient economies.

The President of the Government also pointed to the opportunity represented by the joint promotion of sectors such as renewable energies and infrastructures.
