Texas Health Denton Recognized for Excellence in Robotic Surgery

DENTON, Texas - Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton has earned accreditation as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery from the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC), a national recognition that highlights the hospital's commitment to quality, safety and advanced surgical care.

The SRC, a patient safety organization, accredits surgical facilities and medical professionals worldwide. The Center of Excellence designation is awarded to healthcare organizations that meet rigorous standards for patient care, clinical outcomes, safety processes and continuous quality improvement in robotic surgery.

Robotic technology enables surgeons to perform many procedures with enhanced visualization, precision and control. For many patients, minimally invasive techniques may result in smaller incisions, less pain, shorter hospital stays and faster recovery times.

Texas Health Denton's robotic surgery program offers advanced procedures across multiple specialties, including general surgery, colorectal surgery, hernia repair, gallbladder and appendix removal and surgical treatment of the upper digestive tract for conditions such as acid reflux.

The accreditation recognizes not only the hospital's advanced technology but also its commitment to comprehensive team training, quality monitoring and outstanding patient outcomes.
