Metal Beam Guiderail Upgrades to Mill Street in Hartland

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing the upgrade of existing guiderail will be performed on Service Road 488 (Mill Street) in Hartland, from Route 20, mile marker -0.01 to Hogback Road mile maker 0.90. This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 4 and be completed on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The project 0174-0474 consists of upgrading existing guiderail systems to current standard systems.
This project is being performed by Eagle Fence Company.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be lane closures on Service Road 488 from Monday, May 4 to Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Traffic control signing patterns and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
