The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, was hosted by the Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, at the Church of Saint Sava.
Mikheil Kavelashvili visited the church together with his spouse, Tamar Bagrationi, members of the accompanying delegation, and the First Lady of Serbia, Tamara Vučić.
The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, spoke to the members of the Georgian delegation about the history of the Church of Saint Sava and the unique relics preserved there.
The Georgian delegation includes: the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, Members of the Parliament of Georgia: Irakli Mezurnishvili, Irma Zavradashvili and Guram Macharashvili, the Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Serbia, Levan Beridze, as well as the Head of the Administration of the President of Georgia, Ketevan Kvinikadze.
