Free wellness coaching can help achieve New Year’s resolutions

Free, one-on-one, confidential health and wellness coaching that can support New Year's resolutions is available to all Marquette employees and their spouses as part of the My Wellness program. All the coaching offerings can be found on the Health Coaching page.

Across the nation, most people's New Year's resolutions center around wellness, with the following amongst the most common resolutions:

  • Exercise more
  • Save more money
  • Eat healthier
  • Lose weight
  • Quit smoking
  • Improve sleep
  • Increase happiness
  • Reduce stress

There are specific health coaching offerings available to employees and their spouses that address each one of these goals, including coaching for financial fitness, nutrition, weight loss, smoking cessation, sleep hygiene, stress management and two different offerings for physical activity.

Participating in this free, one-on-one, confidential health coaching provides support for these and other areas of wellness. Additionally, participants can earn 25 My Wellness points for completion of each coaching program, up to a maximum of 100 points.
