NJBIZ recognized Patricia Greer, JD, Provost, Berkeley College, among the recipients of the ICON Honors awards during a ceremony on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in Somerset, NJ. The program recognized 37 New Jersey leaders, 60 and over, who lead through mentorship. Greer is a resident of Chatham, NJ.
"Few professionals can say they got to where they are without someone leading the way," said NJBIZ in an article announcing the honorees. "(The recipients) have helped the state's business community grow and continue to champion their industry through professional creativity, innovation and leadership."
The leaders represent industries including accounting, real estate, law, government, higher education, and others.

As Provost, Greer is responsible for the overall academic vision that contributes to Berkeley College's excellence in career-focused education. She joined the College as a faculty member in 1997 and has served as an advocate of the Berkeley College mission for more than two decades.
Greer is actively engaged with the business community and local chambers of commerce. She has served on the NJ PBS Community Advisory Board and as a member of the Business Council of the Newark Museum of Art.
Prior to joining Berkeley College, Greer worked as a Legal Assistant with Shearman & Sterling in New York City, and as a Law Clerk for Schwartz, Tobia & Stanziale in Verona, NJ. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1995 and served as an Associate at Bennett & Samios, LLP, in New York City.
Greer holds a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University, a Master of Arts from the University of Rochester, and a Juris Doctorate from St. John's University School of Law.
