Premise Health Recertified as a Recovery Friendly Workplace

Premise Health has been recertified for the second year as a Recovery Friendly Workplace by the National Recovery Friendly Workplace Institute. The designation recognizes employers that advance policies, practices, and a culture supportive of current and prospective team members impacted by substance use disorders.

Almost 1 in 5 U.S. adults have been affected by substance use disorders, making it one of the most significant health issues facing communities nationwide.

"Being recertified as a Recovery Friendly Workplace reflects the culture we're building at Premise, one where recovery is met with support rather than stigma," said Associate Vice President of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Lauren Collins. "Recovery-friendly practices are an extension of our broader commitment to belonging, and making sure every team member has the support they need to do their best work and deliver the best care to our members."

Organizations that achieve certification demonstrate leadership in reducing stigma, promoting access to recovery resources, and strengthening wellbeing. Employers pursuing certification meet criteria in four key areas: culture, hiring and retention, benefits, and education and awareness. Premise's commitment includes practices such as fair chance hiring, ongoing education and training, and benefits like no-cost assistance programs.
