Shape Hale Ranch’s Future: Community Meeting on Nov. 16

The City of Fairfield invites residents and stakeholders to a public community meeting on Monday, November 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at 1000 Kentucky Street, Rooms Lakeside A and B. Light refreshments will be provided.

City staff will present the proposed Agricultural Industrial Zoning District for the 189-acre Hale Ranch Study Area, bounded by I-80, Hale Ranch Road, and Cordelia Road. The proposed zoning aligns with the 2024 General Plan to support winemaking, agritourism, food science, and specialized food manufacturing, while strictly prohibiting general warehouse storage and non-food manufacturing.
