Faculty invited to join Research Mentor Collaborative

Are you a faculty member who mentors undergraduate research teams? Join colleagues from across campus in the Research Mentor Collaborative, a new community of faculty focused on mentoring undergraduate student research teams.

This collaborative community brings together experienced and newer faculty across disciplines to share practices for mentoring student research teams. Through these discussions, participants will build a network of colleagues navigating similar mentoring challenges and opportunities - no matter their field.

Faculty mentors will share best practices for supporting undergraduate research teams across disciplines. These discussions will inform an interdisciplinary manuscript submission, giving participants the chance to contribute to scholarship on mentoring practice.

The group will meet from 9-11 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning Sept. 9, on Zoom.

Interested? Please fill out the short online application by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2.

Facilitators

  • Nicole Chodkowski, Undergraduate Research and Mentoring Institute
  • Katherine Doyon, College of Health Sciences
  • Michal Temkin Martinez, College of Arts and Sciences
