Acura at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

  • IMSA returned to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course in 2023 for the first TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks, a then two-hour and 40-minute race, followed by two years as a six-hour enduro.
  • This year, the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship returns to the two-hour and 40-minute race length for the 2026 edition.
  • Since the return to IMS, Acura has scored one podium finish for their electrified Acura ARX-06 machines when Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun came home third last year in their #60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing car.
  • The #60 pair are looking for their first podium of the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, following two fourth-place finishes at Sebring and Laguna Seca.
  • Piloting the #93 Acura ARX-06 will be Nick Yelloly and Renger van der Zande
  • Yelloly and van der Zande already have a win under their belts this year, taking the victory at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.
  • Yelloly is a two-time podium finisher at Indianapolis, finishing third in 2023 and second in 2024.
  • The #93 currently sits second in the team championship with two races left to run.
