Venture One's Fourth Annual Holiday Charity Outing
Rosemont, IL - December 12, 2018 - At the Fourth Annual Holiday Charity Outing, Venture One Real Estate helped contribute to Bernie's Book Bank in Lake Bluff, IL. Employees brought books to donate, including over 330 books by Michelle Katzenstein and a few pallets worth by Rick Sobon! Many children's books were carried, sorted, packed and organized as the team worked together to package books for children in need.
Founded in 2009, Bernie's Book Bank distributes 3.5 million new and gently used children's books annually to children throughout the Chicagoland area. Bernie's sources, processes and distributes quality new and gently used children's books to significantly increase book ownership among at-risk infants, toddlers and school-age children throughout Chicagoland. Bernie's Book Bank is the leading provider of quality books to at-risk children in the Chicagoland area.
