Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will meet Kenya's Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi, India's Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and the United Arab Emirates' Minister of State Lana bint Zaki Nusseibeh on 10-12 June.
Ahead of the Kultaranta Talks, Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will meet Kenya's Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi in Helsinki on 10 June. During the meeting, the ministers will discuss bilateral relations between Finland and Kenya, as well as current peace and security issues, in particular the situations in Ukraine and the Middle East, and efforts to develop the multilateral system.
On 11 June, Minister Valtonen will meet India's Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in Helsinki. In addition to bilateral relations, the ministers will discuss the new strategic partnership between Finland and India, as well as topical international issues, including Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East.
At Kultaranta Manor, Minister Valtonen will meet the United Arab Emirates' Minister of State Lana bint Zaki Nusseibeh on 11 June. The meeting will focus on relations between the two countries and the current situation in the Middle East.
As part of the official programme of the Kultaranta Talks, Minister Valtonen will take part in a panel discussion on 11 June together with Ministers Jaishankar and Nusseibeh. The discussion will focus on emerging powers and the new geopolitical competition.
