New York State Society of CPAs Launches Financial Leadership Certificate Program:
AI and the Future of Accounting Series

NEW YORK - The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYCPA) and its Foundation of Accounting Education (FAE) are pleased to announce the launch of the Financial Leadership Certificate Program: AI and the Future of Accounting Series, a groundbreaking five-week educational experience designed to prepare CPAs and finance professionals for the rapidly evolving, AI-driven future of the profession.

Launching Thursday, October 23, the program will run weekly through November 20, with sessions held every Thursday from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. ET. Participants will earn 10 CPE credits and receive a digital badge of completion upon passing a final knowledge assessment, recognizing their achievement in mastering advanced AI concepts and applications in finance.

Moderated by Dr.Sean Stein Smith of CUNY's Lehman College, this forward-looking program features five expert guest speakers and a series of interactive modules. Participants will engage in case studies, polling, round table discussions, and scenario analyses that mirror the complexities of today's financial landscape.
