First Service Bank is pleased to welcome Sooky Brigance as Sr. Real Estate Development Officer, where she will focus on originating real estate lending opportunities while supporting market growth and development across Northwest Arkansas.
In her new role, Brigance will work to expand real estate lending production by building and strengthening strategic partnerships with realtors, builders, and local professionals. She will also help support long-term market expansion while guiding clients through the loan process from application to closing.
Brigance brings more than a decade of experience in the real estate industry. Her background includes working as a REALTOR®, gaining experience in closing operations and business development for a title insurance company, and most recently serving as a Mortgage Loan Originator at First Horizon Bank. In that role, she originated and structured both secondary market and portfolio mortgage loans while building strong referral relationships with real estate professionals and banking partners.
"We are excited to welcome Sooky to the First Service Bank team," said Scott Todd, Vice President of Strategy and Growth at First Service Bank. "Her industry experience, strong relationships in the Northwest Arkansas market, and passion for helping people achieve homeownership make her a great addition as we continue expanding our presence in the region."
Brigance holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Baylor University and a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from the University of Arkansas. She resides in Farmington, Arkansas, with her husband, Michael, and their son, Sawyer.
Brigance is actively involved in the Northwest Arkansas community. She and her family attend Cross Church in Fayetteville and Farmington, where a new campus is currently under construction. She is also heavily involved with the Northwest Arkansas Mortgage Bankers Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Arkansas, where she has served on the local executive leadership board since 2021 and will begin her term as Secretary-Treasurer of the state association this year. She will be formally inducted at the Great River MBA Conference in Memphis this May. Brigance has also been involved with the Northwest Arkansas Board of REALTORS® (NABOR) and the Northwest Arkansas Home Builders Association.
"I'm excited to join First Service Bank and be part of a team that truly values service, relationships, and community," Brigance said. "Helping people achieve their dream of homeownership-especially first-time buyers-is incredibly rewarding. I look forward to serving clients and partners throughout Northwest Arkansas and contributing to the bank's continued growth."
