PPB Asks for Public's Help Locating Missing Endangered Man

PPB is asking for assistance in locating James Freimark, 70, who went missing from the Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood on April 7, 2026. He is using a black scooter with a red base.

James Freimark, 70, departed his residence at 10:45 a.m. near the 6900 Block of Southeast 78th Avenue on April 7, 2026, with the intention of going to the VA Hospital where he thought he had an appointment. He was reported missing on the evening of April 7, 2026, after he did not show up at the hospital and it was learned he never had an appointment. Freimark was observed at a bus stop near his residence, but did not board the bus he would have taken to get him to the VA Hospital.

Freimark has been experiencing confusion and depression following some recent health challenges. He was last seen operating a black Jazzy 6 electric scooter with a red base. (similar scooter pictured). The scooter was not fully charged at the time of his departure.

Freimark recently had a double leg amputation and does not have his prosthetic sleeves. He is also without his prescribed medications.

James Freimark is described as a Caucasian male, and weighs about 100 pounds. He now has longer hair than pictured and is clean-shaven. He was last seen wearing a blue flannel shirt, gray basketball shorts and a tan fedora hat.
