Help Pack a Snack Bag for Elijah’s Promise This Weekend

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (July 24, 2026) - Emanuel Lutheran Church will host its fourth annual Snack Bag Drive for Elijah's Promise on Sunday, July 26, from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at 3 Kirkpatrick St.

Organizers aim to build 3,000 quart-sized snack packs containing crackers, nutrition bars, and sweet or salty treats-a 50% increase over last year's total. Paired with sandwiches and water, the packs will support local residents facing summer food insecurity.

Community members of all ages are invited to volunteer. Organizers are also accepting donations of packaged snacks, quart-sized bags, and online funds via the church's website.
