Metro Public Health Department releases Community Resource Directory Tool designed to help connect Nashvillians to local resources

The Metro Public Health Department (MPHD) has released its new Community Resource Directory website, highlighting some of the resources available to the community. More than 250 service providers, organizations and other resources are listed in the directory, sorted into nine categories: Basic Needs and Shelter, Health and Wellness, Behavioral Health and Wellness, Community and Culture, Education and Employment, Family, Social Services and Accessibility, Financial Assistance, Legal and Civil Services and Safety and Crisis Support.

"Nashville offers many resources to our community, from nonprofits and charities to the work Metro Government does on a daily basis," said Dr. Sanmi Areola, Director of Health at MPHD. "By listing many of those resources in one place, we hope to help more people get the help they need to live their healthiest life."

Each resource listed was contacted by a representative of MPHD's Public Health Infrastructure Grant team prior to the site's publication. Organizations that are not listed in the directory and would like to be added can submit their information directly on the page.
