TRAFFIC ALERT: Pilot car operation on MO-33 in Platte County for resurfacing, Aug. 17

PLATTE COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting a pilot car operation on Missouri Highway 33, from U.S. Route 69 to Holt, for pavement resurfacing and ADA improvements. Motorists may experience delays. All work is weather permitting. Please see below for traffic modifications:

Monday, August 17th until Tuesday, August 25th from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. each day

  • Crews will be conducting a pilot car operation at the intersection of South Jefferson Street and East 4th Street.
  • Crews will be conducting a pilot car operation at the intersection of Washington Street and South Jefferson Street.
  • Crews will be conducting a pilot car operation at the intersection of West 19th Street and South Jefferson Street.

Sunday, September 6th until Thursday, October 8th from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. each day

  • Crews will be conducting a pilot car operation on MO-33, from US-69 to Holt, for pavement resurfacing

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
