Statement by the High Representative on behalf of the EU on the alignment of certain countries concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Mali 10:52 Statement[...]

On 1 December 2025, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2025/24361.

The Council prolonged the restrictive measures for one year, until 14 December 2026, and amended the statement of reasons and the information for the persons included in the lists of natural or legal persons, entities or bodies subject to restrictive measures, as set out in the Annex to Decision (CFSP) 2017/1775.

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova (Republic of), Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Ukraine align themselves with this Council Decision.

They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.

The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
