Presentation of the books of the President of Tajikistan to the Austrian National Library

On July 16, 2026, in Vienna, in order to present the achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan during its period of state independence, as well as the further popularisation of the history, culture, language and literature of the Tajik-Persian people, a number of valuable books of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon and other prominent figures of science and culture, were presented as a gift to the Austrian NationalLibrary.

During the conversation, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Austria Mr.Manuchehr Jobir and the Director General of the Austrian National Library Ms. Michaela Mayer also exchanged views on the further expansion of cooperation between the relevant institutions of the two countries.

The Austrian National Library was founded in the 14th century and is visited by more than 1 million people annually.
