HUDSON TECHNOLOGIES AND ICORIUM REACH PRELIMINARY AGREEMENT TO ESTABLISH A COMMERCIALIZATION PARTNERSHIP FOR NOVEL EXTRACTIVE DISTILLATION TECHNOLOGY

  • Partnership to focus on single-stream reclamation
  • Partnership to support anticipated refrigerant supply demand

Woodcliff Lake, NJ - July 2, 2026 -

Hudson Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: HDSN) and Icorium have reached a preliminary agreement to establish a partnership to commercialize Icorium's patented extractive distillation technology. Extractive distillation promises to change the separation capabilities for hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) and hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) blends. Hudson is committed to increasing reclamation capabilities and capacity ahead of significant reductions in virgin refrigerant availability as well as the anticipated demand increases for reclaimed refrigerant forecasted under the AIM Act.

Icorium has developed a single-stream reclamation process that transforms complex mixtures into a high-purity, single-component, reclaimed proprietary refrigerant. The proprietary refrigerant meets or exceeds new production quality standards, enabling direct reuse without additional processing.

"Innovation is a critical path to delivering on our promises to customers and shareholders," said Hudson Technologies President and CEO, Ken Gaglione. "Our company was founded on next-gen technologies and this agreement builds on that legacy, amplifying our core capabilities."

"Icorium is ready to commercialize our extractive distillation process and establish partnerships that will help us scale," said Dr. Kalin Baca, Icorium co-founder and CEO. "Our innovation is well-aligned with Hudson's vision and technology portfolio. We look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together."
