Governor Polis Appoints Ryan L. Hess to the Montrose County Court in the 7th Judicial District
DENVER - Today, Governor Polis appointed Ryan L. Hess to the Montrose County Court in the 7th Judicial District. This appointment fills a vacancy created by the appointment of the Honorable Laura E.H. Harvell to the 7th Judicial District Court and is effective immediately.
Mr. Hess is the Owner/Attorney at the Law Office of R.L. Hess. His practice consists of civil, family, and estate law. Previously, he was a Detective for the Montrose Police Department (2024-present); Deputy District Attorney in the 7th Judicial District (2023-2024); Attorney at Cannon Law Office (2022-2023); Mayor for the City of Craig (2021-2023); Council Member of the City of Craig (2019-2021); and Owner at Ryan Hess Mediation (2020-2022). Mr. Hess earned his B.A. from Colorado Mesa University in 2008 and his J.D. from Purdue Global Law School in 2020.
