Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park hosts ribbon cutting for completed revenue bond project
JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 8, 2025 - Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park's team invites the public to a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, for its recently completed revenue bond project. The park's campground has undergone extensive renovations including the conversion of 35 basic sites to sites with water, sewer and 50-amp electrical services.
Portions of the campground had been closed for these upgrades and other renovations from November 2023 June 2025, when they were completed. This is one of several revenue bond projects in Missouri's state parks. More information on these projects can be found by visiting mostateparks.com/revenue-bonds.
The new campsites are now available to reserve. The campsites in this section have been renumbered, so make note when reserving your sites. Reservations can be made by contacting the Reservation Call Center at 877-422-6766 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. or by visiting icampmo.com.
