Wheeling University Nursing Student Receives Woman's Club Scholarship
WHEELING, W.Va., Dec. 11, 2025 - Wheeling University student Shaye Nolan is the recipient of a scholarship from the Woman's Club of Wheeling.
Nolan, a Nursing major from Wheeling, received a $500 scholarship from the local organization. The Woman's Club awards one scholarship each semester to a local student enrolled in a West Virginia college or university.
Applicants must be a relative, neighbor or friend of a current Woman's Club of Wheeling member and be enrolled in an institution of higher learning in the state of West Virginia. The applicants must also submit an applicant information sheet.
Each semester, the Education and Libraries Committee of the Woman's Club of Wheeling reviews all applications and awards a scholarship to a deserving student.
Jill Emery, chair of the Nursing Department, recently presented Nolan with the scholarship.
