Award-Winning Teen Actress, Kayden Tokarski, will serve as keynote speaker of 38th Annual Walk Against Drugs Oct. 17

Award-winning actress Kayden Brenna Tokarski ("General Hospital") will serve as the keynote speaker for the 38th Annual Walk Against Drugs on Saturday, October 17.

Hosted by the City of Mission Viejo and Orange County Sheriff's Department, the event kicks off at 8 am with Kayden leading the rally at Mission Viejo High School, 25025 Chrisanta Drive.

Kayden, 17, made her debut this summer as Scout Cain on "General Hospital," the longest-running scripted American drama and the longest-running American soap opera currently in production. Most notably, Kayden gained early recognition playing the young version of Julia Roberts' character in the Emmy-nominated Starz original TV series "Gaslit."

In addition, she starred in Lifetime's "My Professor's Deadly Secret" and "Killer in Woods" and the upcoming biopic "Bruton" playing Theo Rossi's daughter. Kayden also appears alongside Anthony Michael Hall in the sci-fi feature "Roswell Delirium" as well as Dee Wallace in the upcoming "Curse of Vandor" and its sequel. In May, Kayden wrapped the upcoming neo-noir thriller "Quads & The Kicker" alongside Kelly Marie Tran, Tia Carrere and Gilles Marini.

Along with her film work, Kayden, who was born in Mission Viejo, even stepped into the world of "Wednesday" (Netflix), voicing Wednesday Addams in a national Wendy's commercial tied to the hit series. She stars alongside Joey Fatone in a national Red Lobster commercial.

Kayden's dedication to community service is evident through her work as a youth ambassador for the nonprofits Breaking the Chains Foundation, Wild Tunes and the Minor Performance Alliance. She was also a keynote speech at a Red Cross LA fundraiser and part of the Joyful Child Foundation's "Be Brave" pilot. For her advocacy efforts, Kayden was recognized as part of Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley's 2026 "Women Making a Difference" Awards.

After the rally, participants will walk together up La Paz Road through the Oso Creek Trail and end at the Village Green at Oso Viejo Community Park (24932 Veterans Way) for the Community Fair and South County Disaster Preparedness Expo. Here, attendees can meet Kayden and see static displays by the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Orange County Fire Authority, and other public agencies.
