Gilbert Community Set to Host Arizona Good Business Summit

Local First Arizona and the Town of Gilbert will host the 2026 Arizona Good Business Summit and bring together more than 300 local business leaders and entrepreneurs from across Arizona for a gathering focused on strengthening local economies. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 11, from 9 AM to 2 PM at HD South, Home of the Gilbert Historical Museum.

"This is not your typical business conference," said Kimber Lanning, founder and CEO of Local First Arizona. "The Good Business Summit creates space for locally owned businesses to learn from one another, explore new ideas and actively shape what's next for their companies and communities."

Guided by this year's theme, The Future We Shape Together, the summit highlights the role local businesses play in Arizona's economy and communities.

"By convening Arizona's business leaders, this event fosters collaboration and innovation that strengthen communities. The summit will showcase Arizona's diverse local business community, encouraging reflection and dialogue from attendees, shared purpose, and community choices shaping the future. It will include over 20 breakout sessions on business growth, access to capital, branding, technology, and the role of local businesses. The day will conclude with a guided tour of Downtown Gilbert's Heritage District, highlighting the town's history through its local businesses, arts, and culture.

The Office of Economic Development will attend the Arizona Business Expo at the Summit, providing insights into Gilbert's business assistance programs and addressing questions about business expansion and relocation. Additionally, representatives from Taking Care of Small Business (TCSB), the Town's dedicated service division that helps launch small businesses confidently, will be present.
