Beth Toot-Levy will present "Local Limits and Surcharges: Strategies for Shared Utility and Industry Success" at the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) 2026 National Pretreatment Workshop and Training in Portland, Maine.
She will speak on Thursday, May 7, at 9:55 a.m. ET. Her co-presenters are Chris Desiderati from Clackamas Water Environment Services and Forrest Lindsey from Brown and Caldwell.
Beth is a Senior Scientist based in Ohio with more than 25 years of experience in environmental and regulatory compliance related to water quality. She focuses on evaluating new and existing permit requirements, rules, regulations, and legislation for scientific legitimacy, achievability, and appropriateness.
The National Pretreatment workshop brings together pretreatment professionals, regulators, and consultants across the country to discuss topics including emerging regulatory issues, PFAS source identification, local limits, industrial permitting, data centers, and water reuse.
NACWA represents public wastewater and stormwater agencies across the United States; provides legislative, regulatory, and legal advocacy on the full spectrum of clean water issues; and serves as a technical resource for water management, sustainability, and ecosystem protection interests.
