Ensuring the safety of our community includes preparing for the needs of our animals-especially our equine partners. The PVP Equine Readiness Event is designed to provide horse owners, caretakers, and community members with the tools, knowledge, and resources necessary to effectively prepare for emergencies and disasters.
From evacuation planning and trailer readiness to assembling equine emergency kits and understanding best practices during incidents, this event will offer practical, hands-on guidance to help you take proactive steps toward preparedness. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with local responders, equine professionals, and fellow community members committed to protecting both people and animals.
Emergencies can happen without warning, but preparation makes all the difference. By planning ahead, we can reduce risk, improve response, and ensure the safety and well-being of our horses and our community.
Join us in taking an important step toward readiness on Saturday, May 2nd from 9:30am-12:30pm!
