GDOT District 3 was awarded five projects in November 2025
The first investment will be a signing upgrade project in various locations across Twiggs County. The signing upgrades project is estimated to cost approximately $288k. The contract was awarded to TRP Construction Group, LLC.
The second investment is located in Fayette County. This project entails resurfacing 1.84 miles of SR 85, starting at SR 92 and extending to SR 92 North. The cost is $1.4 million and was awarded to C.W. Mathews Contracting Co., Inc.
The third investment will be in Twiggs County. It will be a concrete rehabilitation project of 9.5 miles on I-16 beginning at milepost 22 and extending in the Bleckley County line. The cost will be $824k. The contract was awarded to Causie Contracting, Inc. The estimated price is approximately $4.3 million.
The fourth investment will be a signing improvement project in various locations in Chattahoochee County. The signing upgrades are estimated to cost approximately $771k. The contract was awarded to Oxford Construction Co.
The final phase of investment involves signing, marking, and shoulder rehabilitation at multiple sites across Pulaski County. The project is estimated to cost $222k. The contract was awarded to Griffin Grading & Concrete, LLC.
Start dates have not been established for any of the contracts and are not scheduled.
