Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan Zhao Xing Meets with Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi

On March 4th, Ambassador Zhao Xing met with Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Foreign Minister of Afghanistan. They exchanged views on bilateral relations and the current regional situation.

Minister Muttaqi applauded Afghanistan-China relations, and stressed that Afghanistan is willing to further strengthen communication and coordination with China on regional issues, and jointly safeguard regional peace and stability.

Zhao stated that China stands ready to deepen practical cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields in the coming year and promote the development of bilateral relations.
