Overnight Water Infrastructure Maintenance Planned at 21st Street and Florence Avenue

1/14/2026

The City of Tulsa will complete planned overnight maintenance to repair a water valve leak near East 21st Street and South Florence Avenue on Wednesday night, January 21, 2026.

Crews will work overnight to reduce impacts on traffic and daily routines. While repairs are underway, the eastbound curb lane will be temporarily closed. Drivers are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area.

The City's goal is to complete the repair without interrupting water service. If the valve cannot be repaired and must be replaced, customers in the immediate area may experience a temporary water outage and will be notified.

This proactive maintenance is part of the City's ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, reliable water system and addressing infrastructure needs before they become larger issues.

The City appreciates the community's patience and cooperation as crews work overnight to keep Tulsa's water system operating smoothly.
