6th Annual Gingerbread House Contest at Santa's Village by the Sea

SAN CLEMENTE ANNOUNCES 6TH ANNUAL GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST AT SANTA'S VILLAGE BY THE SEA

11/10/25…San Clemente, California… The City of San Clemente Recreation Division is thrilled to sprinkle some winter magic with the 6th Annual Gingerbread House Contest and Display in conjunction with Santa's Village by the Sea on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Get ready for a season sparkling with joy, laughter, and a blizzard of creativity!

The City invites bakers, builders, designers, and artists of all ages and skill levels to participate. Contest divisions include:

• Individual Youth (ages 15 & under)
• Individual Adults (16+ years)
• Family/Group (all ages).

Participation is free; however, pre-registration is required. Register at www.san-clemente.org/events. Each participant or group will receive a 12" x 12" base, available for pickup at the Community Center (100 N. Calle Seville) or the San Clemente Aquatics Center (987 Avenida Vista Hermosa).

Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, difficulty, precision, and overall appearance. Edible materials are strongly encouraged. Awards will be presented to the top three entries in each division, along with a "People's Choice" award voted on during Santa's Village by the Sea. Winners will be announced between 4:45 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. before the tree-lighting ceremony at the Community Center. All gingerbread houses will remain on display at the San Clemente Art Gallery through Thursday, December 11.
