Bank Offers Future Professionals Real-World Experience in Retail Banking, Operations, Business Intelligence and Marketing
HYANNIS, Mass., June 2, 2026 - Cape & Coast Bank has welcomed its intern class for the Summer of 2026.
Eleven students from colleges and universities across the nation are participating in this year's program, working with professionals from the bank's retail, general operations, business intelligence, and marketing teams.
"Cape & Coast Bank is committed to supporting and mentoring the next generation of community banking professionals and is honored to welcome these students," said Cape & Coast Bank President and CEO Erik Porter. "We hope this experience will serve as a springboard to launch a career in banking, perhaps even with Cape & Coast Bank. I thank our team members for offering their time and expertise to this talented group of interns."
The Cape & Coast 2026 intern class, and their areas of focus this summer include:
Interns also will participate in a variety of professional development opportunities designed to enhance their technical knowledge and interpersonal skills. Programming will include a Service and Communications Excellence Workshop focused on delivering exceptional client experiences, as well as behind-the-scenes lunch-and-learn sessions covering social media strategy and the bank's financing operations. Interns will also gain career insights through leadership tips and a panel discussion led by members of the bank's team, providing exposure to different career paths and perspectives.
