From Coffee to Community: Social Sips Cafe Spotlight

The Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is proud to recognize Social Sips Cafe as the July 2026 Business Spotlight winner.

Located at 801 Cleveland Street in downtown Clearwater, Social Sips Cafe has quickly become a welcoming gathering place where residents, employees, and visitors can relax, connect, and enjoy handcrafted beverages, desserts, and conversation.

Since opening in late 2024, the cafe has focused on creating a warm and inviting environment that encourages community connection.

"We're a community cafe where people can come together and really get to know their neighbors," said Bradley, manager of Social Sips Cafe. "When people walk through the door, they're greeted with a warm, relaxing atmosphere that's modern, comfortable, and welcoming."

The cafe offers a variety of specialty beverages, sweet treats, and desserts that have helped build a loyal customer following over the past year. Among the most popular menu items are the cafe's taro milk tea and its affogato, a classic dessert featuring a shot of espresso poured over a scoop of gelato.

Creating meaningful connections remains at the heart of the Social Sips experience. From morning coffee to evening desserts, the cafe has become a gathering place where customers can relax, connect, and feel part of the community. As the business continues to grow, plans include new food offerings, beer and wine service, live music, wine-pairing events, and additional programming designed to bring people together.

"We're excited about what's next," Bradley said. "From new menu items to live entertainment and community events, we're looking forward to creating even more reasons for people to gather at Social Sips."
