Miller Files Articles of Impeachment Against JB Pritzker

Governor JB Pritzker has engaged in conduct which, under the totality of the circumstances, constitutes inciting violence which is incompatible with the duties of his office. He has failed to uphold the oath of protecting the Illinois Constitution and has failed to protect the citizens of Illinois.

His dangerous rhetoric and multiple statements inciting violence will not be tolerated which is why I filed articles of impeachment against him.

On or about February 19, 2025, Governor JB Pritzker ended his State of the State speech with the following statements that compare Republicans to the Nazi party of 1930s Germany:

"The authoritarian playbook is laid bare here: They point to a group of people who don't look like you and tell you to blame them for your problems.
If you think I'm overreacting and sounding the alarm too soon, consider this:
It took the Nazis one month, three weeks, two days, eight hours and 40 minutes to dismantle a constitutional republic."

On or about March 22, 2025, Governor JB Pritzker spoke at the 2025 Human Rights Campaign Los Angeles Dinner and stated the following when speaking about The Trump Administration and Republicans in Congress:

"Bullies respond to one thing, and one thing only, a punch in the face."

"And I won't continue to advocate that we wage a conventional political fight when what we really need is to become street fighters."

On or about April 27, 2025, Governor JB Pritzker spoke in Manchester, New Hampshire and stated:

"Never before in my life have I called for mass protests, for mobilization, for disruption, but I am now. These Republicans cannot know a moment of peace"

His vitriol does not deserve any attention, but the people of Illinois NEED to know who this man really is.

He cares only for himself: his political ambitions, power, ego and self-serving gains. He shows no genuine regard for humanity in general, let alone the people of Charlie Kirk's home state of Illinois.

Here's what Governor J.B. Pritzker said, blaming Charlie Kirk's assassination on President Trump:

"It's got to stop. And I think there are people who are fomenting it in this country. I think the president's rhetoric often foments it. We've seen the January 6 rioters who clearly have tripped a new era of political violence. And the president, what did he do? He pardoned them. I mean, what kind of signal does that send to people who want to perpetrate political violence? Not a good one."

Pritzker wants Political Points, Not Interested in Protecting IL Citizens

Governor Pritzker recently took aim at the federal government over the potential deployment of the National Guard, declaring: "If you hurt my people, nothing will stop me, not time or political circumstance, from making sure you face justice under our constitutional rule of law."

But Illinois families are asking: why doesn't he show the same resolve toward the violent criminals roaming free under his own SAFE-T Act? Instead of protecting law-abiding citizens, his soft-on-crime policies let offenders walk, only to strike again.

Where was his outrage when:

● A man accused of hitting and killing a DeKalb County deputy was released pretrial.

● A Plainfield man charged with sexual assault was allowed pretrial release.

● A Bolingbrook man charged with arson was freed, only to offend again.

● A man charged with first degree murder in Rockford was given pretrial release.

These are not outliers, they are the consequences of Governor Pritzker's failed policies. He saves his fire for national media attention while turning a blind eye to criminals. State Representative Chris Miller says crime has escalated because of Pritzker and communities are on edge.

"If you look at Pritzker's policies on crime, they obviously favor criminals and illegal immigrants," said Miller. "The SAFE-T Act has destroyed communities across the state, cost lives, and emboldens criminals, yet Pritzker continues to claim the future is bright in Illinois. The citizens of Illinois need a governor who will protect them, not a trust fund baby that coddles criminals."

He has already driven thousands of Illinois residents and businesses out of the state, and now, bully J.B. Pritzker is telling MORE people to move!

Last month, he essentially said that if you disagree with his politics, you need to find someplace else to live:

"I'd like you to get involved and make it a better place by working together with us, but if you want to leave, then get up and move," the governor dared Illinoisans on Aug. 28
