PITTSBURGH - Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is proud to announce that three of its outstanding physicians have been named to the Pennsylvania Medical Society's (PAMED) prestigious 'Top Physicians Under 40' list for 2026.
The honored AHN physicians include Gregory Ferenchak, MD (family medicine), Saleha Rizwan, MD (oncology) and Chen Xu, MD (neurosurgery).
"We are incredibly proud to see these AHN physicians recognized by the Pennsylvania Medical Society. This well-deserved honor speaks volumes about their exceptional talent, dedication and the profound impact that are already making in their respective fields and in our communities," said Bethany Casagranda, DO, MBA, chief medical officer, AHN.
As a physician-led, member-driven organization, PAMED represents all physicians and medical students throughout the state of Pennsylvania. The society advocates for physicians and their patients, helps to educate physicians through continuing medical education, and provides comprehensive resources and guidance to help physicians navigate the complexities of today's healthcare landscape.
The 'Top Physicians Under 40' list is an annual recognition program by PAMED. Nominated by their peers and selected by a committee of PAMED members, the program recognizes exceptional early-career physicians who are making profound impacts in medicine.
This year's awardees represent physicians from AHN's Cancer Institute, Primary Care Institute and Neuroscience Institute.
