Due to the FIFA World Cup 2026 and expected impact on travel, parking, and access to the Richard B. Russell Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse ("RBR Building"), please note important information below about Bankruptcy Court Hearings and the Atlanta Intake Counter during this time:

Hearings in Atlanta - Beginning June 11, 2026, through and including July 15, 2026, unless the Court orders otherwise, Court hearings previously noticed as in-person will instead be held as hybrid hearings, meaning that parties may appear virtually via the Zoom Hearing link for the appropriate judge as found on the website, or, in person. Hearings noticed as virtual, will continue as noticed and parties should appear virtually.

Atlanta Intake Counter - The Intake Counter at the RBR Building will be closed on the dates listed below for the World Cup Match Days at Atlanta Stadium. Any party that needs to file documents on those days may use the drop box at the Atlanta Intake section, or visit the Gainesville, Newnan, or Rome Intake Counters of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court which will be open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
