Fatal Single Vehicle Crash

At approximately 00:16 AM personnel from the Reno Police Department, Reno Fire Department, and REMSA responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover on Veterans Pkwy south of Mira Loma Dr where the driver had been ejected. Initial investigation found the vehicle was at a high rate of speed, failed to maintain the travel lane, entered the raised center median and began to roll, causing the driver who was the sole occupant of the vehicle to be ejected. The driver was declared deceased on scene.

The identity of the deceased is withheld, pending notification to next of kin.

Veterans Pkwy was closed in both directions from Mira Loma Dr to S. Meadows Pkwy and is anticipated to reopen at approximately 07:00 AM June 13, 2026.

The Reno Police Department M.A.I.T. (Major Accident Investigation Team) is handling the investigation.
