On October 29th at 4:00 p.m., start the evening with a story in the Children's Library. Then, from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m., there will be kid-friendly Fall-O-Ween crafts and snacks!
Next, you can head upstairs to the upper gallery to try your hand at making cardboard magic lanterns. A magic lantern is an early optical device that projects images from glass slides onto a surface using a light source, a mirror, and a lens. See how magic lanterns work with a demonstration and then try to make your own. This one might be a little tough for the younger kiddos, so keep that in mind!
In the lower gallery, stop by Let's Go Build, where the kiddos can try to make Halloween and fall-themed Lego creations.
Visit the community room to watch some old spooky cartoons! Don't forget to grab some popcorn, juice, and trivia questions.
Fall-O-Ween crafts begin at 4:30 p.m. with the event ending at 6:00 p.m. For early attendees, we invite you to share a story with us in the Children's Library at 4:00 p.m.
No registration required.
