Betsy Ramsey Named August Colleague of the Month at Lincoln Memorial Hospital

Betsy Ramsey, a physical therapist assistant at Lincoln Memorial Hospital, has been named August Colleague of the Month.

Ramsey earned the recognition after helping a community member who was having difficulty with a new knee brace while visiting The LMH Market. The customer recognized Ramsey from her role at the hospital and requested assistance.

After examining the brace, Ramsey discovered it had been placed on upside down and backwards. She took the time to properly fit the brace and ensured the customer was comfortable before leaving.

The interaction left a lasting impression on both the customer and colleagues who learned about the experience.

"The customer was extremely thankful for Betsy's help and left feeling much better with the brace correctly in place," wrote the nominator.
