Two Eagle Scouts Recognized by Board of Commissioners at April 2 Meeting

At an April 2 regular meeting, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners recognized the accomplishments of John and Jacob Thede, who both recently earned the Eagle Scout rank, the highest ranking attainable in the Scouting America program.

John Thede's Eagle Scout Project consisted of building a bridge and hosting a home goods food drive for Family Promise of Forsyth County.

Jacob Thede's Eagle Scout Project consisted of creating a hammock meeting area and native plant display for the Sawnee Mountain Preserve.

The Board congratulates the Scouts on their outstanding achievements and thanks them for the many hours dedicated to serving the community.
