On 19-20 January, President Gitanas Nausėda will visit the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, and take part in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
During his meeting with CERN Director-General Mark Thomson, the President will discuss the areas of Lithuania's cooperation with CERN, as well as the next steps for Lithuania's broader engagement in CERN's future projects and in European research infrastructure. The President will also take part in the event "Strengthening Lithuania-CERN Partnerships for Europe's High-Tech Future."
At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Gitanas Nausėda will join political and business leaders in discussing the most pressing global challenges, including Russia's war against Ukraine, the strengthening of European security and defense, and other global geopolitical issues. The President will also participate in a public discussion "Redefining Europe's Place in the World."
In Davos, President Gitanas Nausėda will also hold bilateral meetings with heads of state and representatives of potential investors in Lithuania.
