For 51 years, Ascension Saint Thomas West has been the trusted destination for advanced specialty care across Middle Tennessee and the surrounding region. Today, the hospital announced an investment of more than $120 million to modernize its campus, creating an elevated environment that reflects the exceptional care delivered by its physicians and care teams every day.
The multi-year transformation will modernize acute hospital facilities, expand outpatient services, modernize physician office buildings in partnership with Healthcare Realty Trust (NYSE: HR), and improve patient access while introducing health-inspired amenities that create a more welcoming, connected experience for patients, families and visitors.
"As healthcare continues to evolve, so must the environments where we deliver care," said Harrison Kiser, president of Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West. "This investment reflects our commitment to providing an exceptional experience for the patients we serve every day. Every enhancement has been thoughtfully designed to improve access, elevate Centers of Excellence, simplify navigation and create an environment where patients and families can focus on healing."
