Henderson Police Conclude Latest Enforcement Targeting Illegal E-Motorcycles

Continued Effort Focuses on Education and Enforcement of Laws Regarding E-Devices

HENDERSON, Nev. (June 29, 2026) - The City of Henderson Police Department has concluded a targeted enforcement of illegal e-motorcycles citywide.

This effort comes at a time when police are seeing more of these devices on City streets. As a result, officers focused their efforts on educating riders and parents about what is and isn't legal, and if necessary, issuing citations and having those devices impounded.

This enforcement campaign ran from June 23, 2026, through June 26, 2026. During that four-day period, Henderson Police made a total of 101 stops. Those stops resulted in:

  • 49 total citations
  • 23 parents cited
  • 39 e-motorcycles towed/impounded

The totals from all four enforcements between December 2025 and June 2026 are:

  • 122 citations
  • 66 illegal e-devices towed/impounded

While this marks the end of the department's targeted enforcement, more efforts are planned in the future. The City of Henderson will also continue its awareness campaign to help educate our community about the dangers of illegal e-devices. Together, we can make our roads safer for everyone. We urge our community to Ride Smart. Stay Safe.
